Welcome, bem-vindos, bem-vindas. This blog displays a selection of things, mostly book things, that I have made in the recent past.

Under “Commissioned Books” you’ll see projects I have either only executed the binding, or that prior to the hand-binding I have also designed the book (sometimes in collaboration with the patron).

The next 2 sections – “Sculptural” and “Editions”, present works that I have printed and bound by hand, with contents revolving around notions of coherence (or lack of) within human relations.

“Sculptural Books” are variations on the Codex theme – in other words, artist book’s that expanded upon traditional formats. Those are either one-of-a-kind or made in small editions (3 max).

Under “Editions” you’ll see books that I have letterpress printed and bound by hand within the boundaries of the codex-format, in multiples (each book’s edition size is specified).

At the side, this blog also gets untimely updates on random aspects of life and work fragments, which tends to be personal and (I’ve been told) somewhat cryptic. The left side bar (“book parts”) has a selection of such random things.
